Dr. Mazin Gadir is an External Advisor for healthcare government ministries and authorities with responsibility for Health and Digital strategy development, implementation, execution and Transformation. Moreover, Dr. Mazin Gadir is the Director of Partnerships, Client Relationships and Bid Management at IQVIA Payer Provider Government Group. Currently, he is working on a Post Doctorate research on Value Based Care and Digital Health Transformation in collaboration with the University of North Florida and Angel Kids Pediatrics.

Prior to joining, Dr Mazin was a Senior Consultant at Dubai Health Authority, Organizational Transformation Office. Dr Mazin Gadir also worked in Healthcare Transformation Strategy and Digital Health Innovation at several companies, including PriceWaterhouse Coopers PwC, Abu Dhabi Healthcare Services Co. SEHA and Cerner Limited accumulating 19 years of experience in the field of Healthcare, innovation and transformation.

Dr. Hassa Al Mazrouei holds three esteemed titles at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City (SSMC): Medical Director of Patient Experience, Director of the Internship Program and Physician in obstetrics and gynecology. Based at one of the region’s foremost tertiary hospitals, boasting the largest bed capacity, her multifaceted roles demonstrate a resolute commitment to clinical excellence, education, and innovation in patient-centered care. As the Medical Director of Patient Experience at SSMC, Dr. Al Mazrouei has transformed patient care. Through her innovative leadership, she has cultivated an environment where empathy and understanding are as vital as clinical expertise. Her strategies have not only improved patient satisfaction but also set a new benchmark for hospitals across the region.

In her role as Director of the Internship Program, Dr. Al Mazrouei has been instrumental in shaping the next generation of medical professionals. Her four-year tenure has overseen the successful graduation of 50 interns annually, enhancing SSMC’s standing as a premier hub for medical education. Dr. Al Mazrouei’s commitment to healthcare extends beyond the confines of SSMC, manifesting in a special interest in community education and outreach programs.

MBChB MRCS DOHNS MSc – Executive Director of Al Saqer Health and Life Science Dr Omar is the Executive Director of Al Saqer Group Healthcare and Life Science (UASQ HLS). UASQ HLS aims to be the largest private healthcare and life science holding company in GCC by the year 2030. Its main mandate is building an operational unit that own and operate assets in the innovative healthcare life science space. Spanning the vertical of Humans, Animals, Plant and Environments. Just before joining BHLS, Omar was the executive director of Executive Affairs and Special projects Office at the Abu Dhabi Department of Health. In that role, he was one of the leaders that transformed Abu Dhabi Healthcare to be one of the best systems globally.

Some of his key roles included; being a member of a core “AD Healthcare Gold Command Team” for Covid-19; with Abu Dhabi achieving number 1 safest city globally at times of Covid19 (DKG) and UAE being number one most resilient country (Bloomberg). Omar was responsible for leading the establishment of the Hope Consortium in day zero, contributing to handling over 260 million Covid19 doses to over 65 countries in one year. Other aspects of his work at the department of health, is leading on developing the ambitious Abu Dhabi Life Science Strategy; the attraction of investment and making healthcare a positive contributor to a globally competitive Abu Dhabi economy.

Dr Dom Pimenta is a UK-based physician, qualifying with triple distinction from UCL in 2012. He worked as a cardiologist up until 2020, when he was redeployed to COVID ITU. During this time he founded a new charity to support healthcare workers, the Healthcare Workers’ Foundation, raising over £3.2m in its first year.

He then moved into pharmaceutical medicine, working on CRISPR and siRNA gene therapy. As part of this role he became an AI healthcare academic, running digital trials in liver disease and heart failure. In 2022 Dr Pimenta joined the prestigious Entrepreneur First accelerator programme in London, and met CTO and co-founder Chris Tan, together founding TORTUS, building the worlds first AI digital worker for healthcare.

Henry is a Consultant Colorectal Surgeon and Lead Consultant for Colorectal Surgery at Frimley Health. He graduated in Medicine from St Bartholomew’s Hospital Medical College in London and trained in the South-West Thames region, taking time out for an MD in outcomes assessment in rectal cancer surgery at St Mary’s Hospital/Imperial College London.

He is an Honorary Senior Lecturer in Surgery at Imperial College London and has a special interest in rectal cancer surgery and robotic surgery. He is the Director of the Frimley Park Senior Laparoscopic Colorectal Fellowship, has wide experience in training existing consultants and trainees on different robotic surgical platforms, and has helped to introduce robotic surgical programmes to hospitals in the UK, Europe and South America.
